Meet Sarah Bushma

Sarah grew up dancing from a very young age and exploring the great outdoors. Having been trained in classical and contemporary dance at the English National Ballet School, Sarah spent much of her free time learning to swim, surf, hike or cycle with her three older brothers.

Going on to perform as a professional dancer for more than 14 years, Sarah has worked for companies such as:

English National Ballet, The Royal Opera, Celebrity Cruises, Incandescence Circus Theatre Company & Belinda King Creative Productions (for Cunard, Princess Cruises, Seabourn & Holland America).

Sarah studied studio equipment Pilates and mat work as part of her dance training. It proved to be an excellent way to stay in optimal condition as well as helping to rehabilitate much quicker when injury did prevail.

Having started to teach Ballroom and Latin dance together with her husband (who is also a dancer- a Ukrainian Folk Dancer to be precise) to cruise ship guests during her time spent at sea- Sarah fell in love with the idea of sharing her passion for movement.

It felt therefore, like a natural progression to further her teaching knowledge, going on to study with Polestar Pilates UK, where she completed hundreds of observation, self practice, theory and apprentice teaching hours before qualifying in 2021. Now Sarah enjoys sharing her experiences with clients who want to explore their own journey of movement, as well as getting out in nature with her husband and family.
