Is Pilates safe?

Sarah ensures the safety of all her clients by first discussing their current fitness/health levels, and then reviewing their completed health questionnaires so that classes can be designed with modifications ready for those that need them. Sarah regularly teaches clients with conditions such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, low back pain plus much more.

What to bring?

You don’t need to bring any equipment to a Pilates class, everything is provided. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing without any zips or fastenings along the back of your body as many exercises are performed lying down.

What happens in session?

A variety of exercises are taught based on the mat, but could include lying down on your back, front or side, seated positions, kneeling or standing work depending on the day. These varied positions in relationship to gravity add challenge to your mind & nervous system helping you to improve faster.

Who is this ideal for?

Anyone looking to move with a more mindful approach to fitness, those seeking to relieve daily aches, pains and niggles, or anyone wanting to build whole body awareness and control.
